Join John Lagimodiere with ACS Aboriginal Consulting Services for live webinar sessions of Indigenous Awareness Training Level 1: Myths & Misconceptions. Broken down into 4 modules, each session includes a 1-hour presentation followed by 30 minutes of Q&A with participants.
Open to the SCC membership and the general public, this introductory session covers the history of Saskatchewan's First Nation & Métis peoples from pre-contact to today, including Treaties and the TRC Calls to Action.
John Lagimodiere is the province’s leading expert in providing Indigenous Awareness Training with over 20 years of experience. His business, ACS Aboriginal Consulting Services, is a past ABEX winner and has contracts with the Government of Saskatchewan and PostashCorp. John Lagimodiere has a close relationship with the SCC and has served as co-MC for the ABEX Awards for several years.
This session is a prerequisite to all advanced levels of Indigenous Awareness Training.
