Join Bridges Health for a 3-part webinar series on Bouncing Back after a crisis. Open to the SCC membership and the public, each session includes a 1-hour presentation followed by 30 minutes of Q&A with participants.

Module 3: Taking Care During Transition
Presented by James and Angellah Brayshaw, Module 3 provides an overview of how change can place us in distress and impact our mental and physical health. Understanding the effects of change and how to properly manage it as well as strategies to cope and overcome transition effectively will also be covered.
James Brayshaw has spent the past quarter century working as a Professional Firefighter, Medic, and Educator. He chairs the Peer Support and CISM* Team in his First Responder industry. And has over two decades of experience in the Mental Health field. James chairs a *Critical Incident Stress Management team for the Fire Service and facilitates workshops sanctioned by the Mental Health Commission of Canada. He brings compassion and a depth of experience when developing and delivering presentations and workshops. He inspires learners to offer meaningful support and interact comfortably with those who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.
Angellah Brayshaw holds an honours degree in Sociology and a diploma in Mediation and Conflict skills and Meditation skills. Angellah’s 20 plus years of work in professional caregiving as well as Advanced CISM work (Critical Incidence Stress Management), lead her to advocate for mental health training and support teams for individuals, workplaces, and families. Angellah offers content development, workshops and training Mental Health First Aid sanctioned by the Mental Health Commission of Canada.

Refunds and Withdrawals
All sessions are conditional upon a minimum enrollment. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If we cancel a session, a full refund or transfer to another session will be issued.
The withdrawal deadline for all sessions is 3 calendar days prior to session start date. Transfers may be accepted up to 24 hours before the session date. There is no refund after the withdrawal deadline.
