DESCRIPTION:Indigenous Awareness Training Level 1: Myths & Misconceptions\n \n\n$250 plus GST SCC Member Rate\n\n$350 plus GST Non-Member Rate\n\n \n\n9:00am-4:00pm\n\n \n\nPlease join John Lagimodiere with ACS Aboriginal Consulting Services for a day of information and learning through the SCC's programming\, Indigenous Awareness Training Level 1: Myths & Misconceptions. \n\n\n\nACS Aboriginal Consulting Services is a past ABEX winner and is currently contracted to provide Aboriginal Awareness training to all provincial government employees. PostashCorp is also a previous client of ACS. John Lagimodiere\, ACS President\, has a close relationship with the SCC and was co-MC for the 2017 ABEX Awards.\n\n\n\nOpen to the SCC membership and the general public\, this introductory session covers the history of Saskatchewan's First Nation & M tis peoples from pre-contact to today\, including Treaties and the TRC Calls to Action. The session takes place over a full day\, or 8 hours. Participants are encouraged to engage in dialogue and participate in various exercises throughout the day. \n\n \n\nThis session is a prerequisite to all advanced levels of Indigenous Awareness Training. \n\n \n\nLunch is included. Please list dietary restrictions on the registration form.\n\n \nParking\n \n\n2-hour street parking is available around the SCC offices. There are also several Impark lots nearby.\n\n \nPayment\n \n\nAll fees are due at the time of registration. If registering online or by phone\, please use a credit card. If you would like to be invoiced\, please contact 306.352.2671 to discuss available options.\n\n \n\nRefunds and Withdrawals\n \n\nAll courses are conditional upon a minimum enrollment. Registration is on a first-come\, first-served basis. If we cancel a course\, a full refund or transfer to another course will be issued.\n\n \n\nThe withdrawal deadline for all courses is 7 calendar days prior to course start date. Transfers may be accepted up to 24 hours before the course date. There is no refund after the withdrawal deadline.
