SUMMARY:Accounting for New Supervisors (March 2021)
DESCRIPTION:The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Saskatchewan Polytechnic's School of Continuing Education to deliver virtual programming throughout the province. Programming is focused on meeting the needs of the local business community by providing training solutions tailored towards business and skills that are in high demand or trending.\n\n\n\nCourse Description:\n\n\n\nMany of us flinch when we hear terms like depreciation\, cash flow\, balance sheet\, and (worst of all!) budgets. However\, these are all important concepts to understand if you're going to succeed in today's business world\, particularly as a supervisor. Even better\, financial terms are not as scary as they seem!\n\n\n\nTuition: $262.00 including GST\n\nCourse Code: TRSL-1232\n\n16 non-credit hours\n\n\n\nThis self-paced course can be completed on your own time. You have until April 30th to complete it and receive a grade.\n\n\n\nAbout Online Learning\n\n\n\nOnline learning is distance learning method that uses the Internet. You access course materials by logging into your course anywhere that is convenient for you. Based on your schedule\, you can work for a few minutes or a few hours.\n\n\n\nYou will have email and telephone access to an instructor. You can also communicate with the instructor and other students through chat groups and discussion rooms or through other conferencing and collaboration tools.\n\n\n\nDepending on the course\, you may have to attend skill labs and/or clinical experiences where you will apply your newly acquired knowledge and skills.\n\n\n\nThe online tool we use is Brightspace (D2L).
