Tourism Matters! The Health of our Economy Depends on its Recovery!

This is not a webinar! This is a thought-leadership session where sharing challenges, solutions, pain-points and BIG ideas will be encouraged! Thought leadership is about tapping into your talents, experience and passion to dialogue on the BIGGEST and sometimes hardest questions.

The travel and tourism industry was gutted during COVID-19, with many layoffs, hotels going dark, bankruptcies and closures of restaurants.  Now facing many uncertainties and restriction challenges while performing far below 2019 levels, survival becomes daunting when the likeliest for the return to 2019 levels isn't expected until 2023.

What can be done to encourage Saskatchewan's to explore their backyard and to incent out of province Canadians to discover the adventures and gems in our province.

What can be done to ensure that travel and gathering restrictions are not overly cautious and are aligned with evidence?

What unique ideas should be considered to support this sector?
