This session has been designed as a supplemental course to Indigenous Awareness Training Level 1: Myths and Misconceptions and takes place at the FHQ Developments offices in Fort Qu’Appelle. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with senior staff members and community leaders as well as tour the FHQ Development offices. The session will provide information on how to be business-ready to work with Indigenous Economic Development Corporations and First Nations communities. The session takes place over a half day, or 3 hours. Participants are encouraged to engage in dialogue and participate in various case studies throughout the day.
After the morning session and lunch, participants can also further network over a round of golf at the Last Oak Golf Course located on the Cowessess First Nation near Broadview, SK.
Prerequisite: Attendees should have already attended Indigenous Awareness Training Level 1: Myths & Misconceptions or have a base level knowledge of the history of Saskatchewan's Indigenous & Métis peoples as well as the TRC Calls to Action.

Depending on registration levels and interest in golf, the SCC may arrange group transportation as part of the registration fee for this session.
Transportation and/or Golfing Fees
Depending on registration levels and interest in golfing, the SCC may arrange group transportation for up to 10 people. Transportation fees will be added to registration fees based on the proportionate cost of van rental fees, additional mileage (if applicable) and fuel.
Golfing fees will be paid on an individual basis. Based on level of interest, the SCC will arrange teams of 2-4 in advance and assign tee times.

Refunds and Withdrawals
All courses are conditional upon a minimum enrollment. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If we cancel a course, a full refund or transfer to another course will be issued.
The withdrawal deadline for all courses is 7 calendar days prior to course start date. Transfers may be accepted up to 24 hours before the course date. There is no refund after the withdrawal deadline.
